We are seeking an exceptional Senior IT Infrastructure Specialist to join our dynamic team. As a key member, you will play a vital role in maintaining the smooth operation of our multi-user computer systems.

About the Role:

This is a permanent, full-time opportunity for a highly skilled professional who can deliver high-level systems administration support. You will be responsible for setting up administrator and service accounts, maintaining system documentation, tuning system performance, installing system-wide software, and allocating mass storage space.

You will interact with users, evaluate vendor products, make recommendations for hardware and software purchases, coordinate installation, provide backup recovery, and develop and monitor policies and standards for computing resource allocation.

Your Skills and Qualifications:

  • A minimum of significant experience in delivering high-level systems administration support
  • Strong understanding and application of technical principles, theories, and concepts in the field, including Linux, UNIX & Windows, troubleshooting communications networks, deployment of new hardware, and networking standards
  • Experience working with a range of technologies within a professional ICT environment
  • A degree in Information Technology would be advantageous
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, including ability to provide solutions to complex problems
