The Opportunity
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Area Sales Manager to join our team at Veolia in Cambridge. This is an exciting opportunity for a B2B sales professional to take on a hybrid business development/account management role with a strong focus on maintaining current and winning new business.

- Reporting to the Field Sales Manager, you will be responsible for managing and growing our account base across the southern Tasmanian region
- Developing new business growth by proactively seeking opportunities and new customers in your region
Key Responsibilities
- Working with our existing portfolio of clients in the Southern Tasmanian region to further understand their businesses and retain and grow Veolia's revenue and market share
- Developing and winning new clients to add to your account portfolio
- Engaging with the business and community sectors to promote the Veolia brand
- Working with your sales team and operations staff to understand what you can offer and what solutions you may be able to present as options
Requirements
- Proven experience within a previous B2B sales and/or account management role
- Experience in developing new business
- A track record for maintaining and developing relationships with high-level stakeholders
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to resolve issues, make decisions, and engage with clients, major stakeholders, and the community
- Experience in CRM maintenance such as Salesforce is desirable
- Fully maintained and reliable vehicle with a valid driver's license
