The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Area Sales Manager to join our team at Veolia in Cambridge. This is an exciting opportunity for a B2B sales professional to take on a hybrid business development/account management role with a strong focus on maintaining current and winning new business.

  • Developing new business growth by proactively seeking opportunities and new customers in your region

Key Responsibilities

  • Working with our existing portfolio of clients in the Southern Tasmanian region to further understand their businesses and retain and grow Veolia's revenue and market share
  • Developing and winning new clients to add to your account portfolio
  • Engaging with the business and community sectors to promote the Veolia brand
  • Working with your sales team and operations staff to understand what you can offer and what solutions you may be able to present as options

Requirements

  • Proven experience within a previous B2B sales and/or account management role
  • Experience in developing new business
  • A track record for maintaining and developing relationships with high-level stakeholders
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to resolve issues, make decisions, and engage with clients, major stakeholders, and the community
  • Experience in CRM maintenance such as Salesforce is desirable
  • Fully maintained and reliable vehicle with a valid driver's license
