We are seeking a highly skilled Supply Planner to join our team at Pact Group, a leading provider of sustainable packaging solutions. As a Supply Planner, you will play a critical role in managing the supply chain planning function, ensuring operational efficiencies, and delivering customer demand outcomes at the lowest overall cost.
Key Responsibilities- Translate finished goods demand plans into short-term horizon production plans in SAP, maximizing operational performance and service in accordance with inventory policy.
- Create Master Production Schedules (MPS) for medium-term and Rough-Cut Capacity Plans (RCCP) for materials planning, long-term capacity, and assessments for future capital investment.
- Lead the site Supply Review Meeting.
- Develop and maintain planning assumptions, including safety stocks, make frequency, lead times, order quantities, and cycle times in conjunction with Sales, Operations, and other Supply Chain teams.
- Adjust production schedules to accommodate short-term changes to demand.
- Collaborate with Demand Planning to provide insights on forecasts to improve overall accuracy.
- Monitor production to ensure adherence to plan and availability to meet customer demand.
- Ensure data integrity through MRP for accurate material requirements.
- Monitor and track inventory levels in accordance with policy and reconcile variances by identifying root causes and potential solutions.
- Ensure all inventory metrics are met and collaborate cross-functionally to address inventory-related issues to full resolution.
- Manage new product introduction data setup processes in accordance with the central master data process.
- Ensure data accuracy by updating changes in a timely manner and flag all deleted and obsolete materials in SAP.
- Manage communications regarding service issues, backorders, excess items, and slow-moving inventory to all relevant parties.
- Identify opportunities and act to build strategic relationships with all business areas/divisions, customers, suppliers, and contractors to help achieve business goals.
