The Opportunity

This role is a key front-line position, assisting in depot operations, including delivery, compliance, system management, driver liaison, rostering, and reporting.

  • Positioned in Townsville
  • Supporting Managers in implementing business plans and strategic objectives for the site, as well as planning and delivering school, route, special event, and charter services.
  • Maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders and staff, focusing on excellent service provision and individual performance.
  • Managing day-to-day staff resource allocations, including maintaining drivers' rosters through TIMS, and assisting in implementing cost-effective staffing strategies.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Availability for day and night shifts
  • Previous experience in transport, logistics, or operations (full training provided)
  • Minimum MR Driver's License
  • QLD Drivers Authority (preferred) or willingness to obtain
  • Current First Aid certificate (preferred) or willingness to obtain
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
  • Excellent planning and organisational ability, including the ability to perform under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Excellent customer service focus
  • Demonstrated ability to follow policies and procedures
  • Intermediate computer literacy, including the ability to utilise integrated software systems (TIMS knowledge preferred)
