Smart Energy is on a mission to save the future by enabling long-term, cost-saving renewable energy solutions for homeowners. As part of our customer-facing team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our customers receive exceptional support and guidance throughout their journey with us.

Job Description

As a Customer Service Representative, your primary responsibility will be to assist customers in resolving technical issues through phone, email, and live chat. You will use simple and non-technical language to explain complex concepts and provide guidance on how to maximize savings from solar and battery usage.

  • Assist customers in resolving technical issues related to solar and battery installations
  • Provide guidance on how to optimize energy usage and reduce costs
  • Keep customers informed about the progress of their solar installations
  • Coordinate maintenance efforts and update customers accordingly

Additionally, you will work closely with our sales team to ensure that customer issues are resolved promptly and efficiently. This position reports to the Customer Service Team Manager.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Minimum 1 year of customer service experience
  • Experience using Google Workplace or MS Office
  • Salesforce experience is an added bonus
  • Availability between 8am and 6pm on weekdays (rotating roster)
