Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled Senior Claims Specialist to lead the management of a portfolio of high-value and complex Specialty claims. This role is pivotal in ensuring claims are resolved efficiently and fairly.
The ideal candidate will have strong analytical, negotiation, and decision-making skills, as well as excellent communication and stakeholder engagement capabilities. Experience mentoring and developing team members is also essential.
- Manage end-to-end claims across class actions, cluster claims, and high-value exposures.
- Provide strategic advice on policy interpretation, litigation, and claim resolution.
- Collaborate with internal legal teams, panel firms, and counsel to manage legal complexities.
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- Tertiary qualifications in law, business, or insurance.
- Industry qualifications such as Diploma in Financial Services.
- 5–10 years' experience managing complex liability or professional indemnity claims.
- Litigation experience, including briefing panel firms or direct involvement.
