Restaurant Operations Manager Opportunity

Echo Point precinct offers breathtaking views of the southern Blue Mountains, Kanangra-Boyd Wilderness and the Three Sisters. The Lookout is located on Echo Point Road with stunning views from the upper and ground floor levels of this world-class restaurant, café, and wine bar.

The Role

This is a permanent full-time position for a Restaurant Operations Manager. The role is hands-on and will oversee day-to-day operations. This may be suitable for someone with strong hospitality experience, looking for the next move in their career. You will be reporting to the Venue Manager.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily operations of the restaurant, café, and wine bar.
  • Manage staff to ensure excellent customer service and high-quality food and beverages.
  • Develop and implement effective systems to improve efficiency and profitability.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and safety.
  • Build and maintain relationships with suppliers and external stakeholders.
Requirements
  • At least 1 year's experience as an Assistant Venue Manager or similar role.
  • Exposure to a multi-outlet environment - cafe, gastro/pub or restaurant.
  • People management, leadership experience.
  • Strong bar, wine, and food knowledge.
  • Ability to work autonomously and within a team.
  • Willingness to learn with a positive and can-do attitude.
  • Immaculate grooming, clear communication skills.
  • Current NSW RSA accreditation.
