Assistant Manager - Retail — Blue Mountain Village, Mexican Restaurant (CAMINO TACO).

We are looking for an energetic and hospitality-driven Assistant Manager to join our team. This role is suitable for someone who thrives in hospitality, enjoys creating memorable guest experiences, and can keep the vibe upbeat and fun while maintaining a focus on service. As an Assistant Manager, you will be responsible for daily sales on your shifts, supporting and leading the team, and ensuring guests are taken care of from start to finish. You should be hands-on, motivated, and confident in managing teams while keeping energy high.

More Detail — Responsibilities

  • Assist in managing daily restaurant operations to ensure efficiency and profitability
  • Lead and motivate staff to provide outstanding customer service
  • Train, mentor, and evaluate team members, fostering a positive work environment
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and adherence to food safety standards
  • Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally to enhance guest satisfaction
  • Participate in interviewing potential candidates for various positions within the restaurant
  • Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the restaurant

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 44 per week

Benefits: Extended health care

Location: Blue Mountains, ON (On site)

Salary currency: Hourly

Starts: As soon as possible
