
Clinical Leadership Specialist

The Clinical Governance Advisor will oversee and support all clinical governance aspects across CatholicCare NT (CCNT) services.
This includes provision of clinical advice on policies, projects, reports and data interpretation to contribute to CCNT quality improvement processes, risk management systems and the overarching clinical governance framework.
The role aims to strengthen the organisation's focus on Clinical Governance and support consistent implementation of well-informed practice.
Key responsibilities include supporting a clinical risk management system, particularly risks associated with safeguarding children, young people and vulnerable adults.
Candidates must possess formal qualifications and significant experience as a Clinical Psychologist, Social Worker or Mental Health Professional, registered with relevant boards.
Demonstrated experience in preparing and engaging in accreditation processes is essential for this role.
A proven track record of successfully developing and implementing organisational or system level clinical governance is highly regarded.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate cultural competency, particularly in working with Indigenous people, and have high-level knowledge of contemporary, evidence-based approaches to safeguarding children, mental health, social and emotional wellbeing and complex trauma.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Key Selection Criteria:
- Formal Qualification and significant experience as a Clinical Psychologist, Social Worker or Mental Health Professional, registered with relevant board.
- Demonstrated experience in preparing and engaging in accreditation processes.
- Experience in successfully developing and implementing organisational or system level clinical governance.
- Demonstrated cultural competency, particularly in working with Indigenous people.
