The key responsibilities include:

  • Directly managing drivers, including conducting toolbox talks, rostering, and covering additional orders or absences.
  • Managing employment lifecycle, recruitment, training, rostering, performance, and exits.
  • Maintaining workplace health and safety requirements and being available for weekend emergency calls.
  • Overseeing vehicle maintenance, ensuring daily pre-operational checks, and monitoring deliveries and collections.
  • Analyzing data, suggesting solutions, and maintaining accurate logs.

The ideal candidate will possess knowledge of local and regional NSW area, experience in logistics teams, and proficiency in routing technology software. They should also have strong organizational, coordination, problem-solving, negotiation, and communication skills. Additionally, they should be able to promote a safe work culture, achieve business objectives, and get the best out of each team member.
