Equipment Maintenance Professional

Perform equipment maintenance, repair and servicing of mobile plant and longwall equipment on customer sites or in a workshop environment.

The ideal candidate will work in a dynamic team prioritizing safety and adhering to policies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Undertake breakdown repairs, scheduled servicing and preventative maintenance tasks.
  • Diagnose and rectify faults to ensure equipment reliability.
  • Work across various locations to maintain equipment.
  • Complete job-related documentation accurately and on time.
  • Collaborate with supervisors and team members for smooth operations.

Requirements:

  • Heavy Vehicle Trade Certification (Diesel Fitter/Mechanic) is required.
  • Demonstrated experience on underground mining equipment (mobile & longwall) is essential.
  • Current RII DES certification and proven competency are mandatory.
  • CP Status (Competent Person) is a must.
  • A knowledge of mine safety regulations and site compliance is necessary.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team is required.
  • Will to travel and work in various field locations is expected.
