Cyber Security Architect for Australian Defense Projects

Job Summary:We are seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will have experience in ICT support, troubleshooting customer issues in the Software Support System, mobile devices, and related technology and equipment. As a Cyber Security Engineer, you will be responsible for facilitating training on the use of the software support system, managing applications running on mobile devices, planning and coordinating the roll-out of software and firmware security patches, ensuring compliance with ICT security policies, and driving the formulation and adoption of cybersecurity policies.
Key Responsibilities:- Facilitate training on the use of the software support system and manage processes for stakeholders.
- Manage applications running on mobile devices, including creating batch files/scripts to automate processes where required.
- Plan and coordinate the roll-out of software and firmware security patches to mobile devices and other electronic equipment.
- Ensure compliance to ICT security policies, reporting incidents and security breaches, resolving issues, and driving the formulation and adoption of cybersecurity policies.
- Create/Update relevant ICT standard operating procedures where applicable.
- Knowledge of Windows/Linux/Android operating systems, Virtual Machines, networking technology and protocols, security hardening/management, database management, mobile application/devices, multi-threaded software systems, and architecture.
- Qualifications, Certifications or related prior experience as a Cyber Security tech support and/or Cyber Security Engineer.
- Familiarity with the Commonwealth's Protective Security Policy Framework (PSPF) and relevant Information Security Management (ISM) controls is advantageous.
- Self-motivated and capable of completing duties efficiently with minimal supervision.
- Proficient in the development and maintenance of Standard Operating Procedures.

Eligibility:To be eligible for this position, you must be an Australian citizen and able to obtain and maintain an Australian Defence Security Clearance (NV1 standing). You must also be eligible to be certified compliant with US ITAR technology access requirements.
