We are seeking an experienced IT Support Specialist to join our team at Shangri-La Cairns, a luxury five-star hotel located in the heart of Cairns. As an IT Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing technology support services to all computer system users of the hotel.
Key Responsibilities- System Security: Ensure all computer system users adhere to system security guidelines and maintain the integrity of our IT systems.
- User Support: Provide help desk and IT support to users, ensuring appropriate access levels and permissions are assigned.
- Network Administration: Coordinate internal and external training requirements, troubleshoot system and network problems, and perform network/systems administrative functions.
- Equipment Maintenance: Conduct programmed hardware maintenance, maintain IT equipment inventory, and ensure equipment, consumables, and other IT supplies are kept at PAR levels.
- Network Security: Monitor the network security to advise Senior Management of any breaches.
