Job Title: Senior Engineering Manager

The primary objective of this role is to lead and manage the overall engineering operations at a hotel in Australia. This includes overseeing systems, plant, and equipment maintenance to ensure compliance with Australian building regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and supervise a team of engineers in day-to-day operations, including service standards, equipment schedules, safety protocols, and work schedules.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive preventative maintenance program to ensure all equipment and facilities are in good working order.
  • Collaborate with external contractors to monitor and coordinate services performed in accordance with contracts and agreements.
  • Work closely with other departments, such as Housekeeping and Front Office, to ensure seamless operations and prompt responses to service requests.
Requirements:
  • A trade qualification in Electrical, Plumbing, or Mechanical engineering.
  • Advanced knowledge of building management and engineering principles.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and drive results.
  • Flexibility with rostering and availability 24/7 for emergency response.
