Heavy Vehicle Driver Training

This training initiative provides a paid, intensive program to remove barriers to entry and set individuals up to become HR licensed truck drivers, followed by ongoing learning for the next 12 months.

About the Role
  • Service multiple customer sites and collect automotive waste.
  • Drive a Pantech truck and transport waste to disposal/recycling facilities.
  • Perform loading and unloading duties and manual handling as required.
  • Able to work autonomously and maintain high levels of customer service.
  • Maintain vehicle presentation and complete paperwork accurately.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Hold a current unrestricted driver's licence for a minimum of 24 months.
  • Driving History Check with a minimum of 8 demerit points remaining.
  • No heavy vehicle driving experience required.
  • Be passionate about working as part of a team with a strong safety focus.
  • Excellent customer service ethic.
  • Commitment to safety and willingness to learn.
  • Resilient attitude.
Program Inclusions
  • 5-week paid training program.
  • Obtain Heavy Vehicle Licence (HR).
  • Dangerous goods licence & EPA certification.
