As a key member of our Financial Lines team, you will be responsible for supporting and assisting the Product & Underwriting Manager - Casualty & Financial Lines with the profitability, underwriting, management and oversight of our Financial Lines portfolios across all customer segments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Underwriting - appetite, guidelines and standards
  • Underwriting authority licence and accreditation

Requirements
  • Extensive experience (min 7+ years) in a technical underwriting role in Financial Lines
  • Deep knowledge of Financial Lines products and exposures
  • Experience in policy drafting for short-tail and long-tail lines of business
  • Proven track record in delivering profitable growth in Financial Lines
  • Confident and influential communicator with the ability to negotiate at all levels
  • Commercial acumen – decisiveness on critical business issues and decision making
  • Responds positively to change; actively seeks feedback on performance
  • Ability to create a positive working environment
