Veterinary Support Specialist
">Job Description:The primary function of this role is to provide high-quality customer service and support to veterinary businesses, ensuring timely and accurate order dispatch.
">- Answer phone calls promptly and effectively resolve customer queries.
- Regularly check web orders, emails, and faxes for any updates or issues.
- Assign orders to appropriate priority levels for picking and despatch.
- Communicate with customers regarding backorders, ETA's, and alternatives.
- Liaise with purchasing officers and store staff to ensure seamless operations.
- Notify branch managers and operations managers of any complaints or issues related to incorrect or damaged stock received by clients.
- Coordinate with freight companies to address delivery issues.
- Research products and availability of non-stock lines for clients.
- Liaise with suppliers to confirm stock availability and purchase order ETA.
- Process customer credits and manage damaged stock and short expiry stock lists.
- Participate in order picking and packing as required.
- Coding products for veterinary clinic software integration.
- Check stock expiry dates for customers.
- Inform customers of current promotions.
- Assist territory managers with customer quotations.
- Process credit card payments with the accounts department.
