The Role:

This role enables you to leverage your experience to train and assess military rigging and line laying skills, including supervising a simulated construction site.

Key responsibilities include ensuring strict adherence to WHS standards and safety procedures, identifying and minimising risk when handling equipment such as harnesses, lifting and safety gear.

Develop and maintain course learning support materials and assessment tools across various training methods, including instructor-led, distance learning and online self-paced packages.

About the Team:

Our team is composed of a unique mix of military, Australian Public Service, and contracted personnel within a Defence establishment located in Macleod, Victoria.

As part of the team, you will provide training and assessment to recently recruited and seasoned military personnel on military rigging and line laying courses conducted in a simulated environment.

The team is responsible for all maintenance and equipment associated with training and assessment.

Lead a small team to deliver training to inexperienced personnel using effective communication skills.

Desirable traits include a strong work ethic, intrinsic motivation, good time management, flexibility, and an excellent background in safety on a worksite.
