Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Horticultural Leader to join our team in Braidwood, NSW. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all horticulture and landscaping responsibilities, ensuring exceptional standards across the estate.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily horticultural tasks including lawn care, hedge trimming, planting, pruning, feeding, weeding, and basic plant healthcare across Mona Farm.
  • Collaborate with contractors to generate innovative ideas and oversee the upkeep of gardens.
  • Lead the Garden team, ensuring efficiency, performance, and effective task management.
  • Prepare the property for events and guest accommodations.
  • Manage and maintain irrigation systems and composting processes.
  • Maintain a productive kitchen garden in collaboration with the Executive Chef.
  • Oversee propagation, seed raising, and chemical management.
  • Evaluate and uphold departmental standards, conducting regular reviews for compliance.
  • Plan, schedule, and oversee year-round garden maintenance.
  • Develop and document a comprehensive annual maintenance schedule.
  • Manage weekly staff rosters and staffing needs, including recruitment and performance management.
