Commercial Expertise Opportunity

The role involves working with a team to provide commercial support and guidance on complex procurement and contracting activities in the Australian Defence environment.

Detailed expert support and advice will be provided across various stages of the procurement lifecycle, including strategy development, tender evaluation, and contract performance management.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Analysing market trends and designing effective acquisition strategies
  • Developing comprehensive procurement plans and business cases
  • Designing and implementing contract performance frameworks
  • Leading or assisting with tender evaluation activities

The successful candidate will possess extensive experience in commercial contracts development and management, with a strong understanding of Commonwealth and Defence procurement policies and procedures.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as is high-level proficiency in Microsoft Office.

A Negative Vetting 1 (NV1) Security Clearance through the Australian Government Security Vetting Agency (AGSVA) is required.

Candidates based in Canberra with the ability to work remotely for most of the time are preferred.
