The role of Prep Chef plays a crucial part in the smooth operation of the kitchen. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing ingredients to the highest standard, ensuring consistency and quality across all dishes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain high standards of quality, service, presentation, and cleanliness during food prep and ingredient storage.
  • Ensure ingredients are prepped in advance and stored correctly, ensuring the kitchen has everything it needs to meet the service requirements.
  • Work closely with the kitchen team, ensuring they have the right ingredients ready for the line during service, and assist with general kitchen duties when required.
  • Follow all food safety guidelines, ensuring food is stored, handled, and prepared according to our high standards.
  • Ensure all prep is done according to recipes and specifications to maintain consistency across all dishes.
  • Assist with stock rotation and monitor ingredient levels to ensure smooth operation throughout service.
Requirements
  • Experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
  • A positive attitude, with a focus on supporting your fellow team members.
  • Experience with Asian ingredients is a plus.
  • Reliability and punctuality are key for this role.
  • Ability to prep ingredients efficiently, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
  • Familiar with food safety and hygiene regulations.
