Streetscape Services Team Lead

Role OverviewThis role is responsible for managing the day-to-labour services for the maintenance and improvement of Council's streetscape areas.
As a key member of the Parks and Streetscape Operations section, you will work collaboratively with the Coordinator Streetscape to ensure the success of the service unit.
Key Responsibilities- Manage a team of staff to achieve outcomes that address current challenges for the IWC and its commitments to the community.
- Procure goods and services to support the delivery of streetscape services.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve the quality and efficiency of streetscape services.
- Collaborate with other teams to ensure the success of the service unit.
- Ensure compliance with Council's policies and procedures.
- Relevant horticultural qualification or equivalent industry experience in streetscape operations.
- Demonstrated ability to manage a team and its functions to achieve outcomes that address current challenges for the IWC and its commitments to the community.
- Demonstrated procurement experience.
- Ability to work without close supervision.
- Good interpersonal communication skills.
- Knowledge and skills in staff management, performance management, and staff development.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate well, both orally and in writing.
- NSW Class C Motor Vehicle Driver's Licence.
