About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Disability Support Worker in Residential Accommodation. We are seeking passionate and dedicated individuals who share our values of empowering people with disabilities to live their lives to the fullest.

Job Description

We support adults with disability one-on-one or in groups, in their homes and occasionally in the community. As a Disability Support Worker, you will work closely with individuals to implement personalised plans that address their unique needs and goals. No two days will be the same

  • You will assist clients with daily living and personal care needs, including assistance with meal preparation, personal hygiene, and mobility.
  • You will support clients with working towards their goals, shopping, appointments, and events.
  • You will also provide overnight care and support clients with personal care activities.
About You

We're looking for people who are positive, have a great attitude, and an eagerness to learn. You'll share Yooralla's values and have:

  • A Certificate IV in Disability, relevant work experience, or an interest in community services (or willingness to undertake training).
  • Effective communication skills, and good English literacy to communicate well with our clients.
  • The ability to work collaboratively in a diverse team.
  • Australian Driver Licence.
  • The right to work in Australia.
Salary and Benefits
