Class A Diesel Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled Class A diesel technician to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing routine preventative maintenance services on Class A trucks and trailers.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of diesel engines, air brake systems, and trailer components. They will also possess excellent mechanical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine PM services on Class A trucks and trailers
  • Check and top off fluids, inspect belts, hoses, brakes, and tires
  • Conduct DOT inspections and safety checks
  • Identify and report any mechanical issues or potential future problems
  • Maintain detailed service records and documentation
  • Operate diagnostic tools and follow maintenance checklists
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Uphold safety and quality standards at all times

Requirements:

  • 1+ year of experience performing PM services on Class A diesel trucks
  • Knowledge of diesel engines, air brake systems, and trailer components
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in various shop and outdoor conditions
  • Must have basic hand tools and a strong mechanical aptitude
  • Valid Class A CDL or the ability to obtain one is highly recommended
  • Strong work ethic, punctuality, and attention to detail required
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
