Reporting to the Service Team Leader, you willwork as part of a high performing team. You will be responsible for the installation, commissioning and servicing of a wide range of food processing and packaging equipment. Based in Mt Gravatt, Brisbane, our QLD service team conducts work across the greater Brisbane region, with some regional work and interstate when required. Our team is a mix of electrical and mechanical personnel and due to a recent internal promotion, we are currently seeking another Service Engineer who holds a QLD Electrical License.

Key responsibilities include:

• Installation, commissioning, and maintenance of wide range of food processing and packaging equipment.
• Attend machine breakdown calls and quickly and effectively have the equipment faults rectified
• Install machines, attachments, parts and equipment and ensure operation in accordance with contracted guarantees
• Instruct customer's personnel in proper set-up, operating, trouble shooting, maintenance and repair practices
• Conduct training after installation / commissioning as directed
• Conduct preventative maintenance programs as requested by the customer or directed by the Service Engineer - Team Leader
• Survey machines to determine and recommend repairs, parts replacements, updating or rebuilding to place in efficient operating condition

About you

To succeed in this role, you will have demonstrated experience in the installation and support of food processing/industrial equipment.

Additionally, you will have:

• QLD unrestricted Electrical License.
• Previous electrical & mechanical troubleshooting experience
• Field service experience preferred
• Hold a valid Australian drivers license
• A high standard of performance for self & others with excellent attention to detail
• Willingness to take action beyond specific explicit job responsibilities
• Ability to fit into a team and keen to ensure excellent working relationships
