About the Role

We're seeking a hands-on Grader Operator to help keep things moving underground. You'll work alongside a solid crew, keeping the decline and other areas of the mine in top shape, and making sure the gear's running smoothly.

  • Operate underground grader safely, efficiently, and productively.
  • Exercise good judgment and innovate to solve problems, execute tasks, and operate the grader.
  • Minimise damage on equipment by operating it to best practice.
  • Provide assistance to other mining operators as needed.
  • Coach new and/or inexperienced operators.
  • Maintain roads and drains to a high standard.
  • Conduct manual scaling techniques as required.
About You

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • At least 12 months of experience operating a grader – bonus points if it's a 14M.
  • Familiarity with general mine services and safe work practices.
  • Excellent communication skills – written and verbal.
  • Familiarity with JSA systems and how to use them.
