About the role:
We're looking for a hands-on Underground Grader Operator who's ready to roll up their sleeves and help keep things moving underground.
You'll be working alongside a solid crew, keeping the decline and other areas of the mine in top shape, and making sure the gear's running smoothly.
- Initiate and participate in equipment handovers with the Shift Supervisor and cross shift operator.
- Safely operate underground grader equipment.
- Use good judgment and be innovative in selecting, using, and improving procedures to solve problems, execute tasks, and safely operate the grader.
- Operate equipment to best practice to minimize damage on equipment.
- Provide assistance to other mining operators as needed.
- Coach new and/or inexperienced operators.
- Maintain roads and drains to a high standard.
- Conduct manual scaling techniques as required.
- Share knowledge and experiences with the crew and management.
