Job Summary

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate planning matters for compliance with relevant regulations and controls

  • Develop recommendations for process improvements to meet stakeholder needs
  • Manage consultant engagement to ensure effective defence of appeals
  • Implement efficient workflows using business process management systems
  • Engage with diverse stakeholders to achieve shared goals
Requirements:
  • Relevant degree qualification in Town Planning or a related field
  • Substantial experience in planning-related matters
  • Current class C driver's licence
Desirable Skills:
  • Deep understanding of applicable legislation and regulations
  • Advanced knowledge of NSW Planning Legislation and related policies
  • Familiarity with NSW Land and Environment Court procedures
  • Strong commitment to customer service
  • Able to work effectively within a team environment
