Job Title

Senior Clinician, Youth Mental Health Initiative

Location: Goulburn, NSW, AU

Role Overview:

We are seeking experienced Senior Clinicians to provide trauma-informed, culturally safe, intensive therapeutic interventions and integrated psychosocial responses to young people experiencing complex and severe mental health concerns.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership, mentorship, and supervision to ensure the delivery of strengths-based and recovery-oriented mental health care and treatment.
  • Collaborate with partner agencies, develop streamlined referral pathways, and ensure timely transition of care between services.
  • Work effectively independently and within a multidisciplinary team to accomplish service goals and improve consumer care and outcomes.
  • Initiate, lead, complete, and share quality improvement initiatives and service evaluation processes.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications and current registration with AHPRA for Registered Nurses, Occupational Therapists, or Psychologists.
  • Extensive postgraduate clinical experience and knowledge in providing evidence-based mental health assessment and treatment for young people and their carers.
  • Demonstrated understanding of principles of trauma-informed care and its application.
  • Ability to apply advanced reasoning skills and independent professional judgment to manage complex clinical care and service delivery issues.
