Systems Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Systems Engineer to join our team in Melbourne. As a Systems Engineer, you will support the design and planning of new systems and upgrades, delivering mission-critical tolling system infrastructure with high levels of availability and performance.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Develop electrical systems from concept to implementation
  • Create engineering drawings and technical documents to support designs
  • Install, commission, and test roadside systems hardware and software on-site
  • Analyse systems to correct deficiencies, improve performance, and ensure high levels of availability
  • Prepare technical project documentation and procedures for implementation works
  • Track, manage, and report issues internally and externally
  • Support customer queries, representing the company's best interest
  • Plan and organise roadside system activities and resources on-site

About You

  • You have a passion for technology and enjoy learning at a fast pace
  • You possess strong troubleshooting skills, take accountability for your tasks, and thrive in a mix of on-site and office work
  • You are willing to develop product and solution knowledge with guidance and formal training provided

Your Profile

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering
  • Proficiency using CAD tools for electrical drafting, ideally AutoCAD
  • Strong mathematical, analytical, problem-solving, and creative thinking skills
  • Availability for night work and work at heights (occasional requirements)
  • General IT knowledge (Windows, Linux, Microsoft)
  • Hands-on and troubleshooting skills
  • Current full Australian driver's license (valid and unrestricted)
  • General knowledge of Electrical and OH & S Standards
