We are doing our part to accelerate the transition to renewable-fuelled all-electric buildings, appliances and transportation, while focusing on reducing running costs and improving liveability for all.

Your role

This role will suit an experienced electrician with similar environmental values. You should:

- be confident managing multiple jobs and supervising apprentices
- have excellent organisational skills
- be a clear communicator with both customers and colleagues
- take pride in completing your work to a high standard
- have excellent attention to detail
- be able to find solutions through thinking quickly and outside the box
- have the foresight to provide future-proof solutions to our customers
- be conscious of any waste produced and recycling opportunities

In a normal work day, you could:

- install heat pump hot water systems (with the support of a plumber)
- install induction cooktops and electric ovens
- install or replace heating and cooling systems including RCACs and ducted underfloor systems (with support from a licensed air conditioning expert)
- undertake switchboard upgrades
- install electric vehicle chargers
- install rooftop solar systems
- conduct major and minor fault finding in homes
- complete light switch and power point replacements
- complete lighting repairs and upgrades, and appliance repairs
