Your role

This role will suit an experienced electrician with similar environmental values. You should:

  • be confident managing multiple jobs and supervising apprentices
  • have excellent organisational skills
  • be a clear communicator with both customers and colleagues
  • take pride in completing your work to a high standard
  • have excellent attention to detail
  • be able to find solutions through thinking quickly and outside the box
  • have the foresight to provide future-proof solutions to our customers
  • be conscious of any waste produced and recycling opportunities

In a normal work day, you could:

  • install heat pump hot water systems (with the support of a plumber)
  • install induction cooktops and electric ovens
  • install or replace heating and cooling systems including RCACs and ducted underfloor systems (with support from a licensed air conditioning expert)
  • undertake switchboard upgrades
  • install electric vehicle chargers
  • install rooftop solar systems
  • conduct major and minor fault finding in homes
  • complete light switch and power point replacements
  • complete lighting repairs and upgrades, and appliance repairs
