
Child Family Therapist

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team in providing counseling and support services to children, young people, and their families who have experienced family violence.
The ideal candidate will have expertise in delivering developmentally appropriate specialist psychological services and therapeutic support to assist children and young people recover from the effects of family violence trauma.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver psychological assessments of children, young people, and their families using standardized methods.
- Provide therapeutic interventions, case management services, and referrals to relevant agencies as needed.
- Contribute to program development, implementation, and evaluation, including group programs and sessions for clients.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve program goals and objectives.
Requirements:
The successful applicant will hold a tertiary qualification approved by the Psychology Board of Australia, be registered with the Psychology Board, and possess a current Working with Children Registration.
A valid driver's license is also required.
Desirable Criteria:
Registered Psychologist status, eligibility for membership of the Australian Psychological Society, and relevant clinical experience in the human services sector are highly regarded.
