Water Planning Engineer Opportunity

The Opportunity

We are seeking an intermediate level Water Planning Engineer to join our thriving team based in Newcastle. This exciting opportunity involves multiple aspects of engineering consulting:

  • Supporting senior engineers in delivering planning, feasibility, and strategy studies for water, wastewater, and recycled water projects.
  • Hydraulic modelling of water supply and wastewater systems.
  • GIS analysis, cost estimation, and report preparation.
  • Field inspection and condition assessment of water supply, wastewater, and stormwater assets.
  • Collaborating with other disciplines to contribute to process engineering, design, and asset management projects.
About You

You will play a key role in contributing to the growth of our Water Planning team. Essential qualities include a proactive attitude, willingness to get involved, and desire to learn.

To be successful, you must demonstrate:

  • Recently completed a civil or environmental engineering degree with high results.
  • Knowledge and interest in water and wastewater network planning.
  • A commitment to learning and expanding your knowledge of the water industry.
  • Sound reasoning and problem-solving skills.
  • Exemplary skills in Microsoft packages including Excel and Word.
