We are seeking an experienced professional to join our growing team, based in Western Australia. As a Principal Environmental Consultant, you will play a key part in leading environmental approvals for mining and resources projects across WA's diverse landscapes.

  • Develop and implement approvals strategies that meet client objectives and regulatory requirements.
  • Build strong relationships with regulators, communities, Traditional Owners and other stakeholders.
  • Oversee the preparation and submission of high-quality environmental documentation.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior and mid-level consultants.
  • Support business development through proposal writing, client engagement and identifying new opportunities.

About You:

As a highly skilled and experienced consultant, you will bring deep knowledge of WA's environmental legislation, policies, and approvals pathways (EP Act, Mining Act, Part IV, etc). You will also possess excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, as well as a passion for guiding clients to deliver responsible, sustainable outcomes.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need to have:

  • Bachelors Degree in Earth Sciences, Environmental Engineering or Equivalent.
  • Extensive consulting experience, with a strong track record delivering environmental approvals for mining projects in WA or similar jurisdictions.
  • Strong networks within the mining and resources industry, and ideally with regulators and stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to manage multidisciplinary projects and work collaboratively across teams.
