Job Description:

ERM is seeking a Principal Marine Consultant to lead environmental impact assessments and complex approvals processes. The successful candidate will manage projects within scope, budget, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop technical proposals and strengthen client relationships through business development
  • Lead environmental impact assessments and complex approvals processes
  • Manage projects within scope, budget, and quality standards
  • Mentor junior and mid-level consultants to build their expertise in environmental approvals
  • Foster collaboration within ERM's multidisciplinary teams to deliver exceptional results
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • A degree in Marine Science, Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or similar
  • 10+ years of experience in environmental approvals, particularly with offshore projects
  • Strong understanding of Commonwealth and State environmental legislation
  • Broader experience in environmental management and stakeholder engagement is advantageous
  • Proven ability to build and sustain client relationships
  • Strong written, verbal, and strategic thinking skills
  • Authorisation to work in Australia
