Search Engine Optimization Specialist

Our company is seeking a highly skilled Search Engine Optimization (SEO) specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in troubleshooting SEO issues and optimizing search engine discovery and rankings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform regular tests on website SEO rankings and analyze the results to identify areas for improvement
  • Troubleshoot technical SEO issues for the website and implement solutions to resolve these issues
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest SEO trends and best practices, and develop strategies to improve site performance and program needs
  • Work closely with the digital marketing team to provide feedback and insights on SEO-related matters
  • Develop and recommend strategies to foster successful website enhancements for conversion, rankings, and usability
  • Plan website SEO contingencies for problems that may arise
  • Collaborate with team members on SEO standards and changes

Ideal Candidate:

  • Minimum 1 year demonstrated experience in a similar position
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field (desirable but not essential)
  • Strong attention to detail, work ethics, and a high level of accuracy
  • Experience developing websites and analyzing site performance
  • Strong analytical skills and sound technical abilities, including experience using SEO tools
  • Proficiency with WordPress and Google tools such as Search Console
  • Positive, can-do attitude
  • High level of curiosity, creativity, and willingness to learn
