SEO and PPC Specialist Job Description

This is a full-time position that requires five days of work per week. The primary focus will be on optimizing our online presence through search engine optimization (SEO) and managing Google pay-per-click (PPC) campaigns.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop a strong understanding of search engine algorithms and ranking factors to enhance online visibility.
  • Utilize keyword research tools, such as Google Keyword Planner and Ahrefs, to identify relevant keywords and optimize content accordingly.
  • Prioritize on-page optimization techniques, including meta tags and header tags, to improve website crawlability and indexing.
  • Leverage link building strategies and tactics to increase domain authority and drive organic traffic.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest SEO tools, such as Google Analytics and SEMrush, to monitor performance and make data-driven decisions.
  • Employ strong analytical and problem-solving skills to resolve complex SEO issues.
  • Maintain excellent communication and project management skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Routine analysis of industry trends and best practices ensures our online presence remains competitive and effective.

Google Pay-Per-Click (PPC) Specialist Responsibilities:

  • Develop a deep understanding of the Google Ads platform and campaign setup to maximize ROI.
  • Conduct thorough keyword research and create compelling ad copy to engage target audiences.
  • Implement effective bidding strategies and manage budgets to ensure efficient campaign execution.
  • Leverage ad extensions and targeting options to expand reach and conversion rates.
  • Analyze Google Analytics data and track conversions to measure campaign success and inform future optimizations.
  • Apply strong analytical and problem-solving skills to resolve complex PPC issues.
  • Maintain excellent communication and project management skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Regular analysis of industry trends and best practices ensures our PPC campaigns remain competitive and effective.

Requirements:

  • A degree in marketing, communications, or a related field is preferred.
  • At least 3 years of experience in SEO and PPC, preferably in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of search engine algorithms and ranking factors.
  • Familiarity with keyword research tools, such as Google Keyword Planner and Ahrefs.
  • Experience with on-page optimization techniques, including meta tags and header tags.
  • Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.
