Job Title

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Food & Beverage Team Leader to join our dynamic team at the Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for overseeing the smooth day-to-day functioning of our food and beverage outlets.

About the Role:

  • Customer Service: You will be the primary point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service and ensuring their experience is memorable and enjoyable.
  • Maximising Sales: You will develop and implement strategies to increase sales and revenue, while maintaining high standards of customer service.
  • Cash Control: You will manage cash handling procedures, maintain accurate records, and ensure compliance with financial policies.
  • Staff Supervision: You will lead and motivate a team of dedicated staff members, providing guidance, support, and coaching to ensure they meet their performance targets.
  • Dispute Resolution: You will handle customer complaints in a professional and courteous manner, resolving issues promptly and fairly.
  • Team Management: You will work closely with other departmental leaders to achieve departmental objectives and contribute to the overall success of the organisation.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A strong commitment to Workplace Health and Safety is essential.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a high level of personal presentation is required.
  • Excellent time management and communication skills and ability to work in an efficient and practical manner is required.
  • You will be an excellent problem solver, can demonstrate a flexible, cooperative attitude.
  • Hold current Queensland RSA, Driver's licence, and Barista skills.
  • Flexible and availability to work across weekends.
