Food and Beverage Supervisor

As a Food & Beverage Supervisor, you'll be the driving force behind our dining experiences. Your leadership will ensure smooth operations, exceptional service, and a motivated team ready to deliver memorable moments for our guests.

Candidate must be flexible to work both A.M and P.M shift times.

The successful applicant will have a passion for hospitability and hold the following key responsibilities:

Lead by Example: Be a visible presence in our outlets, set the standard for service excellence, and be an operationally savvy and "hands on" supervisor.

Operational Oversight: Manage daily operations across various food and beverage outlets, ensuring efficiency and quality.

Team Development: Train, mentor, and motivate staff to achieve their best and foster a positive work environment.

Policy Implementation: Assist in developing and enforcing policies and procedures to maintain high standards.

Interdepartmental Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences.

Feedback Management: Proactively address feedback from guests and staff to continuously improve service.

Be comfortable in running a busy shift: Monitoring our multiple Food & Beverage Outlets, ensuring staff are performing their duties effectively and motivating staff to reach our targets and goals.

Promote positive working relationships: Communicate and work with all departments of the hotel from kitchen, housekeeping, sales & marketing to engineering, reservations and finance.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

Experience: Proven leadership experience in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

Certifications: Current RSA certificate and a solid understanding of liquor licensing and OH&S regulations. Current Food Handlers certificate and solid understanding of food safety and hygiene (or willing to obtain).

Leadership Qualities: A genuine passion for coaching and developing team members.

Flexibility: Availability to work various shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
