Information Security Operations Lead

We are seeking a seasoned professional to assume the role of Information Security Operations Lead, overseeing the day-to-day management of our security activities.
This individual will work closely with the National Security and Risk Manager to execute security procedures, ensuring the integrity of our information systems and processes.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for:
- Monitoring security incidents, conducting threat analysis, and managing vulnerability responses
- Managing changes associated with systems, networks, and cloud services to maintain security controls
- Maintaining up-to-date threat intelligence and advising on potential risks and mitigations
- Coordinating incident response plans and minimizing the impact of security breaches
- Maintaining disaster recovery and incident response plans, and ensuring regular testing and assessment
- Overseeing the Security Operations Center (SOC) and related tools, solutions, and processes
- Maintaining threat mapping, playbooks, and building threat intelligence sources
- Conducting detailed investigations, including threat hunting and intrusion analysis, while meeting SLA performance requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A degree in IT or a related field
- An understanding of contemporary security issues and incident response practices in a corporate environment
- An awareness of relevant security standards, including ISO 27001 and ACSC 8
- Excellent written and oral communication skills to engage technical and non-technical stakeholders
