Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and friendly individual to join our customer service team as a Member Services Officer. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys delivering first-class services to customers and making a real difference in their lives.

The primary responsibility of this role is to provide excellent customer service to all customers, both in person and over the telephone. This includes providing information and selling memberships to new and existing customers, promoting centre services and programs, and developing good working relations with customers.

This is a full-time position that requires flexibility, including early morning shifts from 5 am to 10 am on weekdays.

Key areas of responsibility include:

  • Providing excellent customer service to all customers
  • Selling memberships and promoting centre services and programs
  • Developing good working relations with customers
  • Opening and closing the centre in accordance with security and safety procedures
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A positive, friendly, and helpful work style
  • Computer literacy and familiarity with software packages and point-of-sale systems
  • Experience in the leisure industry (desirable)
  • A current First Aid Certificate (Workplace Level 2)
  • A current CPR Certificate
  • A police check upon onboarding
  • A Working with Children Check or equivalent
