Position Overview

As a Senior Culinary Support Specialist, you will be tasked with preparing dishes according to the chef's precise instructions. Your responsibilities will also include organizing workstations as necessary for effective menu execution. The role will involve assisting the chef with daily operations, and your contributions will be vital in ensuring guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Adhere to established safety protocols and practices.
  2. Keep your workstation and surrounding areas clean and sanitary.
  3. Maintain a professional appearance and hygiene, including a clean uniform and hair restraint.
  4. Foster a collaborative environment and treat all customers and team members with respect.
  5. Ensure timely service by following the first-in, first-out principle in a la carte production.
  6. Follow company procedures for clocking in and out.
  7. Participate in mandatory training sessions and meetings.
  8. Complete assigned opening, running, and closing tasks efficiently.
  9. Execute all essential duties with a sense of urgency.
  10. Report directly to the Sous Chef and ensure timely preparation of a la carte items.
  11. Prepare salads, soups, sauces, meats, and other items in accordance with established recipes and management guidelines.
  12. Maintain proper sanitation practices, including HACCP standards as directed by the executive chef.
  13. Utilize food items responsibly to complete assigned tasks.

Qualifications:

  1. At least 2 years of experience in a similar culinary role.

  5. Ability to work collaboratively and efficiently within a team.
  6. Physical capability to frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move more than 50 pounds.
  7. Flexibility to work various hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  8. Must successfully pass a background check and drug screening, and demonstrate eligibility to work in the United States.
