Senior Civil Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Civil Stormwater Engineer to join our Sydney-based team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced consultancy environment and is looking to step into a leadership position on stormwater and drainage projects of varying scales.

Responsibilities:

  1. Lead the design and delivery of stormwater drainage systems, WSUD, and OSD projects.
  2. Manage multiple projects concurrently, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality.
  3. Liaise with clients, councils, and regulatory authorities to ensure design compliance.
  4. Provide technical mentoring and support to junior engineers and designers.
  5. Prepare and review technical reports, modelling outputs, and detailed design documentation.
  6. Contribute to proposal writing, fee estimation, and business development activities.
Requirements
  • A degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
  • Extensive and proven experience in stormwater and drainage engineering, ideally within a consultancy environment.
  • Proficiency in stormwater software (e.g., DRAINS, MUSIC, HECRAS, TUFLOW, Civil 3D).
  • Strong understanding of Australian Standards, WSUD principles, and OSD guidelines.
  • Demonstrated project management and team leadership capabilities.
  • Excellent communication and report-writing skills.
