About the Job
The Capital Region Community Services Ltd is seeking a skilled Transport Service Care Specialist to join our team in Belconnen. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about providing high-quality care and support to individuals in their community.
Job Summary
This part-time (22.5 hours per week) ongoing position will involve working with older people, people living with a disability, and those requiring short-term medical care to optimise their choices and provide life-changing care and support they choose.
Key Responsibilities
- Undertake person-centred assessment, planning and coordination of services and supports for older people, enabling them to live at home safely and independently.
- Recruit, onboard, supervise and develop Community Transport Drivers.
- Build effective partnerships with participants, advocates, colleagues, and other key stakeholders.
- Manage documentation and reporting requirements relevant to the role.
- Foster a culture of safety and risk management.
- Contribute to quality audits, improvement plans, and achievement against quality standards.
- Support feedback and complaints management and reporting.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Certificate IV or Diploma qualification in Aged Care related field (or working towards or willing to obtain).
- Current Driver's Licence and access to a registered, comprehensively insured motor vehicle for work-related purposes.
- First Aid and CPR Certification.
- Satisfactory Working with Vulnerable People registration and National Criminal History Clearance by CRCS prior to commencing and every three years thereafter.

This is a part-time position based at Trevor Pearcy House, Bruce. The estimated annual salary for this role is between $60,000 - $80,000 depending on qualifications and experience.
