About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to join our dedicated team of healthcare professionals and contribute to delivering exceptional patient care. As a Critical Care Nurse Specialist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality, evidence-based care to patients requiring intensive monitoring and treatment.
Responsibilities- Prioritize patient needs and develop individualized care plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments, identify risk factors, and implement interventions to prevent complications.
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient progress, including medication administration, vital signs, and laboratory results.
To succeed in this role, you must have:
- A current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Evidence of ongoing professional development through participation in education, training, and research activities relevant to critical care nursing.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively within a dynamic team environment.
- A strong commitment to patient-centered care, quality improvement, and safety.
