Job Overview

The successful candidate will lead and support commissioning activities on high-voltage substations and renewable energy sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage commissioning documentation to ensure smooth project execution
  • Perform SCADA and signal testing to verify system functionality
  • Test primary equipment in substations to guarantee optimal performance
  • Collaborate with engineering, grid compliance, and external stakeholders to achieve project goals
  • Oversee safe energisation procedures to prevent any potential risks
Essential Requirements
  • Hold a degree in Electrical Engineering or Advanced Diploma in Power Systems
  • Have minimum 2 years' experience in commissioning/testing across HV or renewable infrastructure
  • possess a strong understanding of protection and control systems, substation operation, and grid-connected renewables
  • Familiarity with Australian TNSPs (Ausnet, Powerlink, Transgrid, Electranet) is preferred
