Facilities Operations Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Facilities Coordinator to support day-to-day operations for a major aviation infrastructure client. The successful candidate will manage work requests, coordinate contractors, and maintain asset records ensuring facilities run safely, smoothly, and efficiently.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive and organised individual to join our team in Brisbane. As a Facilities Coordinator, you will be responsible for:

  • Coordinating maintenance activities and contractor attendance
  • Responding to and tracking work orders via CMMS systems
  • Assisting with asset data management and reporting
  • SUPPORTING compliance documentation and safety processes
  • Maintaining strong communication with clients, vendors, and the team
  • Managing work order financial approvals (DOA) and Extensions of Time (EOT)

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 2+ years' experience in facilities coordination or administration
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • Proficient in MS Office and work order systems
  • Able to work on-site full time and manage competing priorities

Desirable

Experience in aviation or large, complex sites would be advantageous, as well as knowledge of building services and asset management.
