ICT Governance and Planning Director

The Department of Education, Western Australia is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director to lead the ICT Governance and Planning team. As the Director ICT Governance and Planning, you will be responsible for overseeing and directing ICT related programs and projects through the PMO, and managing contracts and contractors to deliver Department outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain and improve appropriate and efficient governance standards and processes for the delivery of all ICT services and activities across the Department.
- Lead and oversee initiatives and projects of strategic significance to achieve Department outcomes, while actively promoting cyber security awareness within the Directorate and to key stakeholders.
- Manage complex ICT resources across large diverse deployment footprint, and demonstrate sound understanding of complex ICT project and program delivery.
- Achieve results through effective leadership and management of the ICT Governance and Planning team.
- Build productive relationships with key stakeholders, including the PMO, contractors, and other Department teams.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will have an in-depth understanding of large and diverse ICT environments, and be experienced in managing complex ICT resources, financial reporting, leading key projects and program delivery. You will also have excellent leadership and communication skills, and be able to build and maintain productive relationships with key stakeholders.
