Role: Electrical Maintenance Specialist
Location: Wagga Wagga NSW
About the RoleWe are seeking a skilled Electrical Maintenance Specialist to join our team in Wagga Wagga. This role will involve performing electrical maintenance, repairs, validation, installation, testing, tagging and breakdown management.
You will be responsible for undertaking preventative and corrective maintenance on fixed plant and electrical and mechanical fault-finding. Additionally, you will undertake PLC troubleshooting and hazardous area electrical work.
Effective communication and collaboration skills are essential for this role as you will work closely with a cross-trade team of electrical and mechanical trades.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform electrical maintenance, repairs, validation, installation, testing, tagging and breakdown management
- Undertake preventative and corrective maintenance on fixed plant and electrical and mechanical fault-finding
- Conduct PLC troubleshooting and hazardous area electrical work
- Work collaboratively with a cross-trade team of electrical and mechanical trades
To be successful in this role, you will have a valid NSW Electrical Licence and hands-on industrial electrical experience. You will also need to possess excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently without supervision.
In addition to these requirements, you will understand high-level quality control/assurance procedures and have experience with PLC troubleshooting.
